Renting in Greece has a few local rules
Most of what shapes a rental here is settled before you collect the vehicle — which licence the desk will accept, what the deposit is really for, and whether the road you have in mind has a toll on it. None of it is complicated. It is simply easier to read now than at a counter with a queue behind you.
One total, and a deposit that sits outside it
Every price you see is a total for your dates, worked out on our side rather than assembled in the last step of a form, with the mandatory charges already inside it. The security deposit is separate and is never taken online: the rental company holds it at pickup, against the vehicle, and releases it on its own terms afterwards.
The terms belong to the company, and you read them first
Each rental company writes its own terms — fuel policy, mileage, who is allowed to drive, what happens if you cancel. They are shown in full before you book, and your booking keeps its own copy of them, so what you agreed to cannot change afterwards. Because they differ from one company to the next, they are shown with the vehicle rather than promised here.
Six kinds of vehicle, not one
A scooter and a motorbike are separate categories here rather than one, because on most Greek islands they are separate decisions. A boat has its own listing type for the same reason — what you need to ask before renting one has almost nothing in common with what you ask about a car.
No account needed
You can book as a guest. The booking reference on its own is enough to find the rental again, change it or cancel it.
Rentrium supports all thirteen Greek regions and six kinds of vehicle: cars, scooters, motorbikes, quads, bicycles and boats. What is listed at any given moment is decided by the companies that list it.
